Work and Travel 2015 [3]

I’ve found Thai people who moved to Maui….They are SO NICE to me and my friends. They invited me to their party oh! yeah, they loved party so much over here. They thrown parties around 2-3 times per week. I went to their parties…like their baby girl’s birthday party, or their birthday party so, i joined the party and be the photographer in the party. They were really appreciated that i took photos for them. I was so happy because i can do something i loved and make others happy at the same time. They even gave me a little money for taking photos for them. I was not gonna take it but they said “You have a good performance i want you to show your performance, giving you a chance…..to do something you love..the money is nothing just give you just thank you” I was so impressed because that was the first time i got money by doing what i love….i don’t feel like i have to work at all…

They made Thai food for me because i miss Thai food (or let say something spicy). They are so nice and helpful with everything when i needed helps.. even when we didn’t know each other for the first time we met….I had fun so much with them. I cannot thank them enough for what they’ve done for me when i was in Maui… maybe one day i’d go back there and have a chance to repay them…

Work and Travel 2015 [2]

After the owner of the McDonald’s store took me to her friend’s house in Wailuku, she also took me to finish all the document for working at her store. Thats the first time i saw the Kehalani McDonald’s store…it was so cool..look brand new and modern not what i’ve imagined before LOL. She also treated me and my friends McDonald’s meal..I don’t know what to eat so I ordered “Cheese burger meal” since I like beef and i heard that beef over here is so good…we ate like crazy cuz we were so hungry at the time..Thanks to her for this free delicious meal.

After that, she also took me to buy a new SimCard and mobile package which cost 40$ per month but I have unlimited of everything. Thanks to her..again. Oh one more thing, she took me at Walmart to buy ‘non-slippery shoes’ for working and she even bought me a small pillow and small blanket! I don’t know how to thanks her enough. However, I’m so exhausted and jet lag from the long flight at that time but still..I’m too excited to just go sleep and rest….

I arrived a few days before i have to go work so, in the next day i’m taking my free time to look around my house, took photos and enjoyed with the weather and everything.. I rode the bicycle but its like i have to ride up into the mountains which my legs were so tired..so i stopped and sat on the grass.. enjoyed the amazing nature around me…Well, actually I cannot go too far anyway cuz I don’t have a car and I have no idea how to take a bus…hahaaa so poor thing me…but hey its really worth it..better than stay in the house anyway.

Work and Travel 2015 [1]

I’ve decided to join Work and Travel program with one of my friend so here I am…I flew with the Delta Airline for my whole trip. I gotta say that I’m pretty impressed with their services especially the Delta Application which I can keep tracking my flights easily. It was my first time that I’m going away from home..but hell yeah, I’m not scared, I’d say YES in a heartbeat..

From BKK to OGG, yeah! My destination is HAWAii ! the paradise that once in my life I have to go and I’m sooo excited!. My stop over was at Narita International Airport..its been a long flight like around 20+ hours until I arrived at ” Maui ” –the second-largest of the Hawaiian Islands. I’ve got a job at Kehalani McDonald’s, to be honest, I have no idea where is that because I cannot find the store on Google Maps and the worst part is that …I cannot find a place to stay even when I arrived so I’m thinking that I’m gonna be a homeless in Maui LOL! I don’t know where to go next so I called the owner of the McDonald’s store and she was coming to pick me up at the airport and help me find a place to stay !!! I said to myself like “Thanks God ! no need to be a homeless ! hahaha” .. My friends said i’m insane to come here without having a place to stay..but so what? I will just go with the flow haha..

These are the views that I saw…..I can’t explain how excited I am to be here because I know there are so many things await for me to explore…
