” IAO VALLEY “ — is the destination today.

Can’t wait to see..I lived in Wailuku so its not far and people said it is nice especially the weather and the waterfall. So I’m packing my back ready to go see Iao Valley, take a deep breath, taking photos and also jump into the waterfall….

They called it IAO NEEDLE…After I’ve walked around, suddenly I’m falling in love with this place. The views are really really amazing and peaceful since its not crowded. The air are fresh and clean…I took some photos, put my feet into the water ..and now I’m so ready to go into the water..hahaha…however, the water is super super COLD! so I’m taking sometimes to prepare myself…too cold for me..but i can tell the water is clean..

After I’ve finished playing in the water, there are sometimes left so, I went to the beach to see the sunset (you know by now how I love sunrise and sunset). I don’t know the name of the beach though LOL.

There are a lot of people surfing here…..the waves are really really really big and strong. They are pretty good at it…so awesome the people who surfing..how I wish I know how to surf haha, but maybe next time if i have a chance i will learn. its awesome.

Wow! the sunset here is really breath-taking…i’ve never imagined that every beaches in Hawaii will have such a beautiful sunset like this and the best part is every beaches in everyday has different views of the sunset including the sky and the light……i meant it, at least every beaches i’ve seen so far… This is what I love so much about sunrise and sunset, since even if it is the same place, what i’ve seen are different..i’ll never get tired of these things.

Aloha guys! today I’m going to one of the most interesting places…“Luau”–Old Lahaina luau and Ka’anapali Beach Maui luau. I heard that there will be Hawaiian shows..i was like WOW! thats sound wonderful! Can’t wait to see…

Everyone gets the cocktail when you passed the gate..which you can refill or order more cocktail as much as you want. However, I don’t really wanna get drunk so kinda taste it not really drink it all… So I got the table now and then wait for the show..which of course I ‘m not gonna just sit and wait. I’m going for a walk look around and explore….

They are the people who make the environment more nice…..by the sound of the music they played. Thank you to them!

He was telling the story about the history of Hawaii. I couldn’t catch the whole story though but it was interesting. He’s even peel the coconut and let some of us eat it..haha that was fun.

Same here, he was telling the story about the history of Hawaii which I couldn’t catch the whole story too. LOL. After I take photos and walk around for awhile, I tried the food ….I don’t what they called that..but its kinda sweet though.

Almost all the foods were so delicious, only some I don’t like..haha maybe because I’m not used to it but overall its good. I recommended you should try it all..

Now its time for Sunset…after i saw the sun is coming down. I went straight to take photo and leave everything i was doing ..hahaha OH how i love Sunset and Sunrise. After that i went back to my seat and wait for the shows.

ALOHA! today all my friends are busy so here i am.. going alone to Maalaea harbor by the bus ..again.

I’m walking around and see all the amazing boats..how i wish i have one LOL. Taking a while and there is nothing for me to do then i’m looking around and see the small hidden beach where no one is there…so i’m walking to that small beach to explore…and take photos.. i was soooo excited.

OMG, there is no way to go down to touch the sand so i decided to take out my slipper and climb down…its so hard but it was fun. After i climbed down, oh its really worth it..with all the view i’ve seen ……..its unexplainable.

I’m taking photos while my feet touch the sand and the ocean (pretty cold though since its getting dark). I stayed over here, this spot for hours..because i really really like it. Its a great place to escape from all the busy in life…and now its dark..its time for the Moon to show..

I can’t believe what i’m seeing there…the weather is cold, windy, and quiet..peaceful. The Ocean and the sand are cold. The Moonlight is really soft…Everything i’ve seen and felt here..I would never ever forget it. How I wish I can come here more often..

One more thing you guys should know…I climbed down and up the tree with my naked feet..at the end i’ve realized that something stuck on my left foot..At first i thought it was a piece of wood but NO!!!!! OMG, it was “Sea urchin” (How do I know? my local friend told me)…. It hurts so bad..and I have no idea how to get it out….My local friend helps me try to take it out and it seems to be gone….even if i still hurt..after a few days, it gets better…….Now i’m really scared of Sea Urchin. MY GOSH! this is the price i have to pay..hahaha but i’m telling you its really worth it with what i’ve experienced.. If you ask me..i would choose to do it over and over again…

I don’t know how to explain but I really fall in love with Maui….with Hawaii..How I wish I can come back soon… 🙂

Work and Travel 2015 [10]

I woke up so EARLY just to catch the SUNSET at Haleakala National Park –its on the mountain so high (give a hint: above all the clouds). YES! I’m going there….i heard it was the true paradise…i really wanna see with my own eyes.!! So, getting ready by packing necessary stuffs i needed —Jacket (of course! the weather up there is gonna be super cold) and some foods or drinks since it might take some times to drive there.

I’ve been there three times: 
– SUNRISE..(2 times)
– SUNSET..(1 time)

Is it that beautiful like a true paradise? OMG! your not gonna believe that there is any place like this on the Earth. Let’s see it with your own eyes (even though you gotta see it through my photos)…….

One thing I’ve learned, I can come here as much as I want (I’m not gonna get bored of these amazing views) since in the same place, everything is look different..the clouds, the sun even the sky….nothing is the same..

Its really breathtaking..even me, i’m not believe what I’ve seen here…its beyond the word beautiful..i’m speechless..the only thing i know is that it really is my PARADISE. I’m falling in love with HAWAII. How i wish I lived here…so i can come here every time i need some space from everything….I never want to leave this place, thats how beautiful of it!

Let’s see more about my life in Maui..since i was explored some of the malls and some of the beaches in Kihei side…now there is Lahaina which i heard its more popular for tourists. So come on!..let’s see where is my destination this time 😀 I’m so excited now. I have to take a bus from my house(Wailuku) -> Queen Ka’ahumanu Center -> Wharf Cinema Center -> Whalers Village. I’m telling you..it was fun even if it has so many stop over lol, because i gotta keep checking the schedule of the buses. But hey! you know what..the buses over there, you can rely on the schedules coz they are always at the bus stop on time (oh maybe late sometimes but its like less than 5 mins so it doesn’t matter)

Some reviews about stop over places, Wharf Cinema Center is quite small but peaceful not crowded. You can find some grocery stores and if you walk through to the back..you will see Front Street in Lahaina (which i planned to stop here on my way back home). Next, Whalers Village, its more bigger and there are many stores (eg.Rip Curl, Kate Spade, Maui Dive & Surf, and etc.) if you walk through to the back..you will see “Kaanapali Beach” –my destination today! I’m going to take photos and walking around to see…The weather is super hot..again..but that makes the sky so clear and so blue. Perfect for my photos…haha. After I’ve walked under the Sun for so long, look what i found…!!

It’s Black Rock Beach–where people jump off from the rock which is where i wanna see. and OMG…they are jumping… i’m soooo excited!  However, i have to walk on the sand to get closer to the black rock so i can see them jumping clearly and its hot like Hell!. (The heat from the Sun go straight to the sand and the heat from the sand go straight to my feet–its burning my feet i promise) Anyway, jumping off the rock..it looks fun, next time i’m gonna try do that too! Another awesome outdoor activities to do in Maui.. Oh, how i love this paradise….

On my way back, i stopped at Front Street in Lahaina–use my day really worthy ..going out the whole day since in the morning haha.

It was really awesome to walk here at night, i will come back here later during the day..maybe it would be different. The highlight of the day is the Sunset in Lahaina!!!!!….if you can see with your own eyes, you won’t believe that there really is a paradise on Earth…it might take all your breathes away like it took mines…i promise…

PS: these photos taken by me and it has no filter at all.. that’s how amazing of Maui!! How i love this paradise……i’d never want to leave this place..

Work and Travel 2015 [8]

Every beginning is always HARD! So let’s see more about how my work goes after a few weeks. First thing about my schedules….

There are 3 shifts;  
Morning shift: Gotta wake up sooo early and always sooo busy but got free time after work.
Mid-shift: The shift that we cannot go anywhere (i hate it. Hahaha)
Evening shift: Not busy, working soo chill but the weather in the evening over there is really nice so i’d rather be somewhere else than work.

You know…this is one thing i like about the job… Even if you worked, you still get to live your life the way you want. So I asked the manager to put me in the morning shift so i have free time to explore Maui and she understood. I know i’m picky but if it was you, i think you would do the same, would you ? haha… Life at work get easier in everyday cuz i’m getting used to it, faster and better..not messed it up a lots like the first few days (its been very hard for me though)

YES!, it really is wonderful and peaceful even though the weather is SUPER HOT during the day…like the Sun is your hat LOL. Some day has a lot of clouds, some day has clear blue sky…but both of them are beautiful in the different ways. Oh and one more thing that impressed me a lot is people over there…they are always say “Hi / Hello” and smile ..when we walked across, even if we didn’t know each other at all…i really like that culture…

ALOHA! its another day off for me…After i went to do outdoor activities, now let’s explore some other places. So i’ve decided to go to Kihei (go see the beaches!, i love beaches) but i have to take the bus and the bus stop is at Queen Ka’ahumanu Center –its kind of the mall and SURPRISE ! there is a hawaiian performance show by the time i got there waiting for the next bus, how lucky i am. so let’s see what i’ve seen…

Ater the show ends, its time for the next bus stop…so lucky, no need to waste anytime HAHA. Then i’m heading to Kihei……

It was so amazing the beach over here….how i wish i live here..or maybe one day who knows LOL. I’m just walking around the beach, taking photos and breath the fresh air in Hawaii 🙂 I’m taking my time at the beach and next stop is The shops at Wailea..its like the mall but almost all of the stores are brands..expensive brands haha…i’m walking around to see what’s inside..but its Summer and the weather is killing me cuz its too HOT!..so i bought the ice-cream…the flavor i chose was Big Island Inspiration –Vanilla ice cream with chunks of fudge brownies and chocolate at Lappert’s hawaii store. Its cool but kinda sweet..haha i don’t really like sweet but i like something cold..

What do I do in my dayoff ?… sleeping? watching movies? oh hell no! of course not!….I’m going out to do some outdoor activities..the local Hawaiian activities!!

I went to snorkeling at Kihei in the morning….(the managers at McDonald took me..they are local, of course, how can i go to snorkeling by myself haha. i don’t even know the place)

I rented snorkeling suit because hello! i don’t have one..haha (we don’t normally go snorkeling in Thailand) I can’t explain how excited i am..I even brought my another Nikon AW120, its water-proof so i can play with my camera under the water with the fishes! (another one I used is Nikon D5300 –im a beginner photographer).

Humuhumu-nukunuku-apua’a fish is the Hawaii’s state fish.. You read it correct! its the name of the fish, too long i know, i was shocked too for the first time i heard that hahah.. Like what did you say again ? what was the name of the fish? ..its like a sentence LOL. But hey! they are so beautiful..i can’t believe my eyes for what i’ve seen.

The ocean is very cold..cuz its a little bit raining. I’ve seen so many fishes under the water but these are some of the photos i took… if you want to know what other fishes i’ve seen..you can go to here: hawaiian reef fish. Those are pretty much all fishes i’ve seen… what a beautiful creatures under water world. And this is how i end my activity when im about to get to the shore..took of the suit..and Tadaaa! a cut which i have no idea how i got it and its starting to feel hurt when i saw it. LOL… (Oouchh! haha its not hurt that much though or let’s say ITS WORTH IT)

Work and Travel 2015 [5]

After i’ve work for a few days, im starting to get used to it. My major role is “Drive-thru presenter” (I don’t know why but its cool for me). I’ve met so many kinds of customers both very very nice customers and not. However, you know what I like being the presenter….because the expression when the customers got their foods, they look so happy… (in case that they didn’t wait forever in the drive-thru line LOL). I saw regular customers that come every morning and im starting to remember some of their orders hahah so weird but they are so nice to me…

After im done work, i gotta walk home (10 mins walk). Well, its okay to walk only 10 minutes you know but here’s the problems: my house is on the MOUNTAIN (so my legs are super tired can you imagine..standing for 8 hours from work and walk up to the mountain); the weather during the day is SUPER HOT (its like the Sun is on top of your head just like that! and i’m melting). Some day i finished earlier so….im going somewhere to explore the island..

Maui Mall is very small compare to the mall in Thailand but its more peaceful, less people…not crowded. i love it! I was looking around and saw the restaurants, clothes stores, and etc…I’ve spent the rest of my day here until it was late so I went back home……….still I don’t wanna go sleep yet so, i took out my camera (oh everywhere i go, my camera go too!) I’m walking around….then stop and sit on the walk way beside the road..and took photos…it was so peaceful and beautiful like i cannot explain it, if you can see this view with your own eyes, you will see how beautiful of this world is….How i wish i can capture the photo just like my eyes see it…..

I’ve started working at McDonald’s. The first day they took me to be a presenter for the drive-thru. My job is to cover up the soda drinks from the automated-machine (which keep filling up like crazy cuz the customers keep ordering haha), making drinks (eg, ice coffee, hot coffee, smoothies..etc), check the order and give to the customers through the windows drive-thru as their standard. Woah….my first day of working was HELL! I messed it up a lot!!! but my co-worker,  they are so nice and help teaching me step-by-step…. I was so relief with them by my side helping me to correct the order, make the drinks. You know what! It might look easy but im gonna tell you “IT IS NOT”. I gave wrong orders to the customers when sometimes we are in a rush hours (i felt so bad with that but i don’t know how to fix it or make it up to the customers), i did too slow…..the drive-thru line are too long..the customers are waiting forever Oh my gosh! so many things to manage. Everything that everyone does always effect others so you gotta be careful what you do. But hey thats the experience i craved for. I worked for 8 hours per day (35 mins break). I was so tired and felt bad when i did wrong..but deep down, I enjoyed with what i do…the time passed so fast without me knowing that it already passed 8 hours… hahaha.

At first, i got McDonald job I thought, oh Hell no! im not gonna work at McDonald..but i want to go to Hawaii so I think im just gonna try…..and you know what…its not as bad as i thought… to be honest, it was FUN…who knows work can be fun…(probably stressed sometimes though but thats normal when you work right ?) After im done with my first day, i promise to myself im gonna try harder to learn and make it better…cuz i don’t ever want to give the wrong orders to the customers, trust me it felt worst than you thought….(Poor thing those customers…I’M SO SORRY)
